Townhouse In Portixol
The owners of the modern townhouse in Portixol, a coastal neighborhood of Palma, commissioned us for the complete design and furnishing of the new vacation property. For the interior design, they desired more coziness in the existing, somewhat cool-looking rooms. High-quality materials and surfaces such as the natural stone staircase, the SieMatic kitchen, and the micro-cement flooring create a foundation in natural tones, which were incorporated into the design concept. The black staircase railing forms a contrast. This contrast is furthered by various black elements, resulting in a harmonious interplay of different materials. Custom-made cabinets provide ample storage space and are flush with the ceiling. Soft carpets create coziness and frame the living areas. Color accents through side tables and decorative items, intentional breaks with Mallorcan small furniture, as well as the suitable art on the walls round off the Mediterranean feel-good atmosphere. Transparent linen curtains stylishly frame the living spaces. An atmospheric, indirect lighting is supplemented to the existing base lighting. The rooftop terrace with outdoor lounge furniture and sun sails offers a beautiful view of the sea during the day, and in the evening, the bar table and bar stools are the perfect spot for a sundowner.
