This spacious villa in one of Hamburg's most beautiful neighbourhoods still exuded the charm of the 1990s when it was purchased. When designing the floor plan, the owners wanted to optimise the division into functional, family and entertainment areas. In order to create a large, open space on the ground floor for the kitchen, living and dining area, most of the interior walls were removed and supported with steel beams. As a visible accent, they became part of the design concept. In the spacious living room, warm colours, fine parquet flooring and high-quality furniture create a feel-good atmosphere for the whole family. The large dining table offers plenty of space for entertaining guests, while the modern wood-burning stove provides coziness and is a real eye-catcher. A long kitchen island with seating area was created to separate the kitchen from the living area. Perfect functionality combined with high-quality surfaces and a harmonious colour scheme make this kitchen the heart of the house. The highlight of the kitchen is the elegant, expressive worktop made of Taj Mahal marble. To emphasise the visual axis from the entrance to the garden, we chose a floor-to-ceiling, flush steel and glass door. The black of the visible steel beams as well as the ceiling and wall lighting correspond in colour and material with the steel glass door. In the entrance area, customised built-in wardrobes complement the luxurious, cosy style, provide plenty of storage space and form a visual unit with the completely redesigned staircase. The corresponding lighting concept sets the mood in the rooms. High-quality built-in wardrobes were made for the master bedroom, creating plenty of storage space and calm lines. Coloured textiles for bed linen, pillows and curtains with a high-quality feel combined with various balanced light sources give this retreat a calm and elegant ambience.
